In the Junior School we follow the English National Curriculum,
but with some modifications and additions, taking into account our
location and international profile. In this overview, it is not possible
to state all that is covered in each year in each subject, but we have
tried to give just a sample of the kind of work that goes on in each
year group, to give an idea of the different levels. |

Young children do not have a good understanding of time and how
it passes, - this develops gradually. As they progress through Junior
School, we aim to help them develop skills of comparison; research;
looking at sources of information; deduction; understanding and learning
facts: We look at events that have happened in the past, how things
have changed over time, and what life was like for people in different
periods of time in the past, using a variety of sources and information. |
