In the Junior School we follow the English National Curriculum,
but with some modifications and additions, taking into account our
location and international profile. In this overview, it is not possible
to state all that is covered in each year in each subject, but we have
tried to give just a sample of the kind of work that goes on in each
year group, to give an idea of the different levels. |

Music |

Junior School classes also have two lessons a week of music, taken
by a music specialist teacher. During this time, they will have opportunity
to sing, play a range of instruments (percussion) compose their own
pieces, develop rhythm skills; learn to read music; learn to play the
recorder. (Stds 5 & 6) In addition, some children are able to learn
another instrument and have individual lessons. We also have a Junior
School Choir. |
