Welcome Back!

BillTarterOur Alumni Secretary, Bill Tarter, was born in Ooty, raised in India and attended Hebron School (Lushington Boys’ School) from 1957 through 1965.  Bill and his wife, Deborah, have served for 15 years in Haiti where they raised their three children.  Bill most recently served as director of North America Indigenous Ministries before joining Hebron in December 2010.   Bill’s graduate degree in international communication and his childhood experience at Hebron and Lushington give him a unique perspective in strengthening communication with our former students, and in learning from alumni how to improve all aspects of Hebron life for our current students.

Bill has created a FaceBook page reserved for all former Hebron students.  There are already over 400 of your fellow classmates on this site, posting an average of 20 photos and comments a day.  If you are an alumnus/alumna of Hebron or Lushington and wish to enroll in this closed site, follow this link:  http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_184274721612339

The Alumni Department of Hebron School exists to create a connection point between former students and the current staff and senior students.  We are here to learn from the wisdom of past students on ways to improve the school.  We seek insight from Alumni that will encourage and support graduating students.  There are times Alumni would like to “give back” to the school.  The Alumni Department will make former students aware of project needs and seek to raise funds towards these projects.
