I would like to say they were really good but that’s too cheesy because they were better than good!  They were really funny too.  Sara, std. 12.

It was soooo in tune it was scary.  You really hear the difference with our brass now.  I know what it sounds like to listen to ‘real brass’.  It was so well balanced and all the parts weaved together.  Jane, std.13.

Super, super, great and come back!  They were not only good musicians but good people.  I wonder if they’d come back every half term… Barb and Torulf, staff

I was so amazed by all you achieved with the Hebron students.  You were fantastic and gorgeous!  Rachel, staff.

I really enjoyed your concert particularly as you played my favourite piece so well (Sleepers’ Awake).  Andrew, staff.

I don’t have much knowledge about music but it was awesome.  I really enjoyed the concert.  Linda, staff.

I thought it was fantastic.  Absolutely loved it.  Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.  It was especially great what they did with our brass players.  Liz, staff.

A lovely evening enjoying amazing music.  Thankyou.  Val, staff.

It was special that we could share it with the community.  Very rare for Ooty town.  Tom, staff.

Thanks you for helping with German lessons!  Nigel R, staff.

I really appreciated their friendliness and positive influences in the school, particularly their interaction with the staff and students.  Especially the guy who came in the fix the instruments.  Plus the quality of the musical performance was excellent.  Mark, staff.

Our normally full of under-statement son came home from his day at Farley glowing and full of inspiration and enthusiasm for music making.  It was such a privilege for Simon to have so much time with you and we, his parents, are so grateful to you.  Ralph and Dagmar Baron, staff.

Wonderful.  What can I say?  It was… it was fantastic.  Took me back to the 60’s.  They were just awesome.  They were very charming and unassuming.  Christof was lovely with his introductions.  I could have sat and listened to them for hours.  It was particularly nice the way they embraced the Hebron students.  Malcolm, staff.

Wasn’t the concert sensational?  I’ve never heard brass sound so beautiful and smooth.  There was none of the raspiness that often comes with brass playing.  Usually smoothness is connected with woodwind instruments not brass.  They were impeccably in time and clearly having lots of fun, so unusual to see in professional musicians.  They also seemed genuinely pleased to be here and working with our kids! Ralph, staff

It was so fantastic that our quintet got to learn from and play with professionals like you.  It’s an experience none of us will forget.  Thanks for coming!  Eshtan, staff.

“The kids have all been talking about how good it was.”  Teacher from Staines School who did not attend the concert (but wishes they had).
