Monday, 18^th October

Assembly:  Mr. Ian Prescott (parent) talked about knowing God’s plan’s for us and knowing God.

Miss Kristina a new I.G. from Germany was welcomed.

Inter-school Cricket commenced today.  Basketball training recommenced.  The Student Council continues plans for the Event. Band rehearsals start again and preparation for the ABRSM exams continues.

Tuesday, 19^th

Prayer Breakfast:  Miss Crystal (I.G.) led the prayer time in the Staff Room.

Wednesday, 20^th   

Assembly:  Miss Faszer encouraged us to pray for the students preparing for their ABRSM exams.  Some students played their pieces for us.

The Space Settlement Design Team are working very hard on their proposal.

Hockey practice gets underway again.

Thursday, 21^st

The Development Meeting looked at teaching strategies.

Staff devotions were led by Mr. and Mrs. Green – looking at kindness.

Friday, 22^nd  

Assembly: Mr. Reid (Principal) continued his series on ‘Who is Jesus?’ looking at Jesus as Teacher.  The wise person acts on what he hears.

The Mini United Nations team are finalising their submissions and proposals.

Many Std. 11 – 13 students headed off to Brooklands for the Youth Fellowship camp.

Saturday, 23^rd

Youth Fellowship camp

Dorm Activities:  there were several walks and picnics, a trip to Holiday Inn, a murder mystery night and several community service projects.

Sunday, 24^th

Regular morning services

Bible club and 7up

Praise God for a very enjoyable and successful Drama Festival, the ‘success’ of the Sri Lanka tour, safety, rest and recreation during the break, the YF camp.

Pray for ABRSM exam students, the Student Council Event, the mini United Nations team and the Space Settlement Design team – preparations and time management.
