Voluntary Christian Activities

In addition to our regular Assemblies and Services there are many voluntary activities, usually on Sunday evenings, for students to find out more about the Christian faith.  These include:

·      Prayer breakfast:

Weekly on a Tuesday morning for Std. 9 and above.  Do send in any prayer requests via the Principal’s Office.

·      Bible studies:

On various topics for different ages.  This terms topics include ‘Mettle’ (for Stds. 8 – 10) looking at conflict, peer pressure and speech; a study on Creation; the ‘Christianity Explored’ series; the book of Daniel; personal obedience; ‘Cat/Dog theology’.

·      Youth Fellowship (Y.F.):

Separate meetings for Stds. 9 & 10 and 11 – 13 which have a youth activity focus with a relevant message.  A recent Y.F. meeting looked at the nature of fame.

·      7-up:

For Stds. 7 & 8.

·      6.14ers:

For Stds. 5 & 6.

In addition to the above.  There are occasional weekend ‘retreats’ (for Y.F.) and regular Dorm Fellowships.

For further information on any of the above please contact the Principal.  Thank you.

 Alastair Reid,

Principal.
