Teaching and Learning

A unique aspect of life at Hebron is that our teachers are drawn from many different countries and educational backgrounds. This adds to the richness of our students’ experience in the classroom. We do, however, aim for consistency in how we encourage students to be active learners, thinking deeply about the subjects they study. This is not just good preparation for IGCSEs and A Levels, but also lays the foundation for lifelong habits of curiosity and independent learning.

We use the Cambridge Learner Attributes  - Confident, Responsible, Reflective, Innovative, and Engaged - as a focus for our teaching and learning, and in each section of the school, we expect our teachers to model these attributes in their own practice.
